Functional Responsibility

• Responsible for ensuring the Safety Management System is implemented in the Maintenance

and Engineering Department.

Role Responsibility

• Strengthen AirAsia brand image and customer advocacy
• Adopt AirAsia’s culture and follow AirAsia’s desired behaviour.
• Ensure adequate self-development and training is undertaken to fulfil accountabilities.

Functional Duties

• Facilitate Safety Management System implementation in Maintenance and Engineering

Department area.

• Liaise with the Maintenance and Engineering Department to facilitate and/or conduct SMS

Training for the Maintenance and Engineering personnel.

• Administer the Maintenance and Engineering Safety Management System implementation,

including Safety Action Group (SAG), Safety Reporting, Safety Risk Management and Safety
Assurance processes.

Role Duties

• Follow working procedures and ensure manual/SOPs compliances

Education:

• Minimum Diploma, any major

Professional qualifications:

• Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering

Training required for the position (if any):

• SMS Awareness and/or CASO Training
